Rashami Desai is an Indian model and actress. Her real name is Shivani Desai and her stage name is Rashami. She mainly works in Hindi television and Bhojpuri films. She is one of the highest-paid actresses in Indian television. She was born on 13th February 1986 in a Gujarati Family. She brought up in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Her father is Ajay Desai and Her mother Rasila Desai was a teacher. She studied in Tours and travels from Narsee Monjee College, Mumbai.

Rashami Desai is made acting debut from the Assamese film Kanyadaan in 2002. She made her Bollywood debut from Yeh Lamhe Judaai Ke movie alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Raveena Tandon in 2004. She also has acted in many Notable Bhojpuri films Rashami made her television debut from Zee TV’S Ravan Serial in 2006. She Played Mandodari’s character in this serial. Later She has done Pari Hoon Main, Meet Mila De Rabba Serial. She received national fame and Popularity from Colors’ TV Uttaran. He Played antagonist character in this serial. Her performance was highly appreciated by critics and the audience. She won Most Popular Actor Negative award in Indian Telly Awards and Best Actress in Negative Role award in Gold Awards. Later She participated in the comedy reality show Comedy Ka Maha Muqabala and Kahani Comedy Circus Ki as contestant. She was also a contestant in the dance reality show Zara Nachke Dikha, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Season 5, Nach Baliye Season 7. She was the first runner up in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa and Nach Baliye. She came in limelight from when she participated in Indian Reality show Bigg Boss Season 13 and she was the third runner up in this show.
