Hansika Motwani is an Indian model and actress. She started her career as a child actress from the TV serial Shaka Laka Boom Boom in 2000 at age 9. She also acted as a child artist in Hritik Roshan’s Koi Mil Gaya Movie. Hansika mainly works in Tamil and Telugu Films. She also has done a few Hindi and Malayalam.

Hansika is born on 9th August 1991 in Mumbai in Sindhi Family. Her Father Pradeep Motwani is business and her Mother Mona Motwani is a Skin Doctor. She has an elder brother named Prashant Motwani. She did her schooling at Podar International School in Mumbai.

She made her debut as the lead role in Puri Jagannadh’s Desamuduru movie alongside Allu Arjun in 2007. She received the Best Female Debut Awards in Filmfare Awards. Hansika made her Bollywood debut as a lead actress from Aap Kaa Surroor movie starring Himesh Reshammiya. This Film runs well at the box office.

She has done many commercial hit movies including Oru Kal Oru Kannadi, Denikaina Ready, Settai, and Singam 2. Her acting in Oru Kal Oru Kannadi movie was highly appreciated by Critics and Audiences. She also received Best Actress Nomination for Denikaina Ready movie in the 60th Filmfare Awards South.

She has recently done two video albums, one is with Tony Kakkar and the Second with B Praak.
